After graduating with a Masters Degree in Engineering from Imperial College, Tom decided to remain in London rather than moving back to his home town of Salisbury. With engineering opportunities limited in central London, he decided not to pursue a career in his field of study but instead to port his analytical skills into the financial services sector.
Qualified to Level 6 and having achieved Chartered status, Tom is also a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. In addition to this Tom is an affiliate member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) holding the STEP Certificate for Financial Services.
Tom is a keen sportsman and, in particular, an accomplished hockey player. He is also a proficient sailor having achieved First in Class, 3 years running, in the Tall Ships Race. His latest achievement was to complete the 2012 London Marathon in 3 hrs 49 seconds.
