Following the success of Queer eye Julian went on to present a game show called ‘The Jules and Lulu show’ on ITV1. He has extensive experience in the fashion industry, having worked at Marie Claire magazine in 2000, organising the ‘Fashion Breakfast’ with Liz Walker and then moving to Nova magazine. Julian’s expertise could also be heard on our radio stations such as Capital FM and Radio 1 and Radio 5 live.
He regularly appeared on Emma B’s show and also styled popular DJs such as Chris Moyles, Richard Bacon, Scott Mills and Colin. Julian also had his own radio show on Gaydar Radio doing the Saturday breakfast show and after joining the team, helped the radio station win the ‘Best new Digital radio station’ award at the Digital music radio Awards, 2007.
In 2007, Julian presented BBC3’s Help! My Dog’s As Fat As Me – a show dedicated to getting the nation’s dogs and their owners fitter and healthier. He was also invited to commentate on celebrity fashion from that year’s Comic Relief Does Fame Academy with pet dachshund Lulu in tow! Julian was regularly on our screens doing a new weekly pet makeover strand on Richard and Judy called Extreme Makeover: Hutch Edition, aswell as appearing as their fashion journalist alongside Hannah Sandling. Julian also regularly appeared on Trisha as a fashion expert and relationship expert.
Every year, Julian made an appearance on Big Brothers Little Brother and Big Brothers Big Mouth as a celebrity guest – always full of funny comments about the housemates. Julian also makes regular fashion quotes for most of the weekly magazines like NOW, HEAT, CLOSER.

Julian is now working on a new show for Sky talking about celebrity fashion mistakes. It is called ‘THE GOOD, BAD OR NEARLY’ He is also Ch5 News fashion journalist and BBC Breakfast fashion expert and can be found working on the show every week. Julian has recently just finished filming with Paris Hilton on her new TV show and has been styling her too. Julian is a personal stylist to important corporate businessmen and women in London. Through the summer of 2008, Julian hosted and judged many model search competitions throughout the country looking for the face of shopping centres. Julian also spends a lot of time hosting events especially charity balls. Having most recently hosted Lord Kelly’s birthday party and charity auction. He also hosted an auction for Barnardo’s charity selling all of Dame Shirley Bassey’s clothes from the 70’s to the 80’s. Julian has now moved over to the music world and released his first single called ‘Camp Freddy’ on the 10th May, 2008.
Julian trained as a dancer and performer at Italia Conti many years ago so has extensive skill in dance and singing and has always been a true entertainer. Julian has now moved into the world of Modelling by opening up his first Modelling agency in Liverpool. It is called the John Alexanda Agency. Julian has appeared in the hugely popular and award-winning TV show THE ONLY WAY IS ESSEX and also the Christmas special. Julian’s role on the Men Scorned website is all things stylish.
